Unlike other “hand scraped” flooring on the market which is produced by a machine, ours is actually done by hand. Every board is scraped with nothing other than a hand tool and countless hours of hard work. Our 7 step finishing process includes our hand rubbed penetrating oils and durable protective finish coat. Specifications:
- Local salvaged and certified Douglas Fir
- Live sawn specifically for flooring
- Kiln dried to 6-8%
- 3/4″ thick
- Widths available: 3 1/8″, 5 1/8″ and 7″
- T&G and end-matched (T&G on the ends)
- Visually graded to our 99% usable tolerances
- Hand rubbed penetrating oil finish
- 7 step factory finishing with low VOC water based catalyzed finish
