Weathered Antique Beetle Kill Pine

Due to the enlightened awareness of the mountain pine beetle; beetle killed pine products have moved to the forefront of sustainable “green” building. Eco-conscious consumers are anxious to do their part and find projects that include this truly unique wood. As a leading producer of beetle kill pine, we’re constantly developing new product lines in order to increase the seemingly never-ending supply. Millions of acres of our forests are currently dead and dying.
Forests fires have ravaged the Rocky Mountain west the past few years, mostly due to these dead standing trees. We’re doing our part to find homes for these dead standing trees before they ultimately start yet another catastrophic forest fire.
We named our newest product line Weathered Antique Beetle Kill Pine which is a weathered grey stain on pine. We use a series of texturing methods before applying our Antiquing stain. The result is a beautiful weathered gray wood board that is perfect for flooring, paneling, doors, trim, and cabinets.
The most recent project using our Antique Weathered Blue Pine wood planks was seen on “Sell This House: Extreme,” which aired last month on the A&E Channel.
