Hand Scraped Flooring

We are so excited about our new product line, true hand scraped Douglas Fir flooring. Like most of our products we don’t have any secrets, each board is meticulously hand scraped by Jaime and Michael. At Sustainable Lumber we hand craft every floor per order, nothing is mass produced. Unlike most other “hand scraped” floors on the market ours is truly produced with nothing other than a hand scraping tool and a couple of the hardest working kids you’ll find anywhere.

After hand scraping every board is sanded, again by hand. Sanding by hand ensures every piece is as smooth as a baby’s… well you get the point.

We’ve named our new hand scraped flooring line our “Vintage Collection”. Old homesteads across our country contain some of the most beautiful hand scraped flooring you’ll find anywhere. A true hand scraped floor can never be duplicated by a machine.
