Beetle Kill Blue Pine Flooring

Our beetle kill blue pine flooring is salvaged from trees that range from 100-400 years old. We are one of the only manufacturer that specifically harvest beetle kill Ponderosa Pine trees that have been standing dead for up 5 years. The longer a tree stands dead in a forest the more blue stain it will develop due to the fungi that has been inflicted by the mountain pine beetle. Due to natural decay, cracking, and splitting we’re only able to salvage approximately half the tree, but we still believe it’s worthit.
You just wont’ find any better color or character anywhere on the market. Quality and color come at a price. Because we’re only able to salvage a portion of the tree our costs are higher than the lesser quality blue pine you’ll find at your local lumber yard. All our products are an original piece of art, not a piece of commodity lumber.
