blue stain pine ceilingOur beetle-kill pine lumber is salvaged from trees that range from 100 to 400 years old. We are the only manufacturers that specifically harvest beetle kill Ponderosa Pine trees that have been standing dead for up 5 years. The longer a tree stands dead in a forest the more blue stain it will develop due to the fungi that has been inflicted by the mountain pine beetle. Due to natural decay, cracking, and splitting these trees have been forgotten in the forest and left to fall over and decompose. We’re only able to salvage approximately half the tree, but we still believe it’s worthit.

Our beetle-kill pine contains approximately 90% blue stain compared to other suppliers that average about 10%. Because we only sell products that we’d feel comfortable installing in our own homes, you can rest assured your order will contain only the highest quality and color anywhere on market.
